Wild Pirate Hair Wraps - Set of deluxe chunky pirate braids.

A set of removable deluxe chunky wild pirate-wraps and braids, with a mixture of patterns and colours.

Please note that each set of wraps and braids will be different, 'One Of A Kind' (OOAK) designs - no two sets are the same.

Length - approximately 12-18 inches : 30-45cm. Each luxury pirate wrap is approximately 0.5-1.0cm thick. (Please contact me if you require wraps of different lengths)

Choose either light, medium or dark, to coordinate with your hair. (These shades refer to the cotton thread that will be used - either cream, brown or black).

The Process:

To make these wraps and braids, I surround myself with all of my materials, and let the creative process envelop me. Some of the wraps are knotted, some are braided (plaited) some are even more rustic and are intricately latticed yarns, entombing the cottons inside. Once I have made the bodies of the wraps and braids, I attach charms and beads, tassels and cruelty-free feathers to both the body of the wraps, and to lobster clasps that can be clipped on and off as required.

Some will be heavily beaded, some will be more plain. Some will have many charms that can clip on and off, some will have fewer charms.

These wraps and braids combine the beauty and intricacy of Hairwraps UK's standard hair wrap, with the chunkiness of the dread wraps.

These are intentionally UNTIDY-looking wraps and braids, to mimic the unkempt aesthetic of a pirate. With raggedy-looking end-tassels and a more rustic feel than my standard wraps.

Made from 100% cotton, with quality wooden, glass, and Tibetan silver or bronze beads in the body of the wraps, and waterfalling from metal hanger beads. Seaglass, shells and pebbles are also often attached, for an authentic, sea-faring feel.

Any feathers used will only be from an ethical source - I only use cruelty-free feathers where I can personally confirm the source myself.

Please choose the number of wraps you would like - choose between 4, 6, or 8.

Please chose your attachment method:

• A small loop, for loose hair only.
• Weft clip, for easy in and out (one wrap per clip unless you request otherwise).
• Large loop for dreadlocks and loose hair.

***Please note that due to the nature of these wraps, they are more difficult to install into locs than my standard wrap as they have some charms that are NOT removable, thus making the wrap more difficult to pass through the large loop at the point of installation and removal. Please let me know when you check out if you want me to make ALL of the charms removable***.
